Bonnie L. Holeton, age 85, of Council Bluffs, passed away April 9, 2019 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.
Bonnie was born April 13, 1933 in Denison, Iowa to the late John and Hertha (Ploog) Brown. She graduated from Denison High School in 1951. Bonnie married Merle Holeton and to this union two children were born, Susanne and Steven. She worked for many years as a dietary aide at Bethany Lutheran Home and prior to that at A.I. Root Candle Co. She was of the Lutheran faith.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Holeton on September 10, 1987; 3 sisters, Marian, Joyce and Arlene.
Bonnie is survived by her son, Steven (Veronica) Holeton of Shawnee, Kansas; daughter, Susanne (Rusty) Kuester of Scottsdale, Arizona; 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandson; nieces and nephews.
